Charles began his career in lending. He worked at RBS, AIB and Santander, as a commercial and corporate banker from 2001 to 2008. He was involved in transactional, senior debt and syndicated lending with a primary focus on the leisure, healthcare and property sectors. His total quantum of debt lending was circa £400 million.

From 2008-2010 Charles worked for Barcassa Developments in the Caribbean alongside a former banking client. They raised round $150 million acquisition and development finance through private equity, senior debt and mezzanine financing.

For the past seven years he has worked in London, purchasing and selling properties.
